Day 1: Arrival To Lima / Welcome To Peru
Reception at the airport of Lima and transfer to the selected hotel - Overnight.
Day 2: Lima - Paracas National Reserve
6am. Pick Up from your hotel travel to the Peninsula of Paracas in the department of Ica, located a distance of 239 kms/150 miles away from Lima, where we arrive by bus after 3 hours. At 10am.
Breakfast and we will begin our biking tour on trails around the Peninsula towards "La Catedral", rock formation on the sea side, The Sea Lions lookout. After lunch, continue the bike tour on the surroundings experiencing biking on the desert dunes, Julio C. Tello Museum, Paracas bay. 5pm. Come back to Pisco city, Dinner and stay at the selected hotel (B). |

Day 3: Ica - Nasca
6am. Transfer to the port of El Chaco, located at 10 km away from Pisco, here you will board our boats and travel in the sea to know the natural beauty of these islands. This trip on boat take 3 hours, you will have chance to look Flamingos, Huanays, Piqueros, Humboldt penguins, Sea lions, Zarcillos and same times the Andean Condor.
Transfer to La Huacachina to have lunch there. Cycle on the south region of Ica (Rio Grande - Palpa - San Jose), where exist the lookout tower to appreciate the mysterious lines and figures. Arrival to Nasca and stay at the selected hoteL (B). |

Day 4: Nasca Lines - Cahuachi Complex
At 7am transfer to the aerodrome Maria Reiche. Informative video about the Nasca civilization = 35 min. Fly over the Nasca lines (Cessna plane 3/5 people): The Nasca lines are located in the desert, a high arid plateau that stretches between the towns of Nasca and Palpa on the pampa (a large flat area of southern Peru). The Nasca lines are geoglyphs and geometric line clearings in the Peruvian desert. They were made by the Nasca people, who flourished between 200 BC and 600 AD along rivers and streams that flow from the Andes. The Nasca lines are an enigma. Since their discovery, the Nasca lines have inspired fantastic explanations from ancient gods, a landing strip for returning aliens, a celestial calendar created by the ancient civilization, used for rituals probably related to astronomy, or clans who made up the population and to determine through ritual their economic functions held up by reciprocity and redistribution, or a map of underground water supplies. Flying over the area you can marvel looking at the perfect shape of Animal’s, flowers, plants, objects, and anthropomorphic figures of colossal proportions made with well-defined lines.
Lunch and cycle trip to Cahuachi ceremonial complex, located 30km away from Nasca on the west side. Follow a dirt truck along desert, arrival to the complex. Guided tour in this enormous archaeological site, climb to the pyramid construction, made with adobe by Nasca civilization. Return to the hotel in Nasca (B). |
Day 5: Nasca - Puerto Inca - Arequipa
After breakfast we drive into the Chauchilla cemetery, where you can see tombs underground with real mummies from the Nasca civilization. Transfer on our private transport to Yauca, recognized like “valley of the olive” from here cycle to Atiquipa and ending in Chala, where we stop for lunch and relaxing time on the beach. Transfer directly to Arequipa passing through valley of Ocoña, Camana, Majes, Vitor and finally arrival to Arequipa, stay at the selected hotel (B). |

Day 6: Arequipa - Downhill Misti Volcano
Leisure morning for personal activities, we recommend visit the Santa Catalina monastery and “Juanita ice maiden” museum. At 1pm pick from the hotel in our private four wheel drive vehicle. Depart Arequipa going up to 3400m above sea level. The trip takes an hour and half by a dirt road to the base of the conical Misti volcano.
Up there we do a short trek on the slope of this active volcano. At 2:30pm is time to descend Misti downhill on our best-quality bikes, with a fun atmosphere, good tour guides, and good technical support with the jeeps nearby. We enjoy this spectacular ride all the way down to Arequipa, optional single tracks on the Misti slope. Riding our bikes we enter the city, to the hotel (B). |

Day 7: Arequipa - Huambo - Colca Canyon - Llahuar
At 6am departure to the Colca canyon in our private 4WD, travel to see the rest of the north part of Desierto de Atacama and drive up to the highlands crossing the valley of Vitor, Alto Sihuas, El Pedregal - short explore the remains of Wary culture named Huacan - Visit the south part of the Volcanoes range named Pampa Qerqe - Ampato mountain viewpoint (4300m). From this high point (pass) cycle down into the Huambo valley, located between impressive mountain, nice and very welcoming town. Short stop for lunch, drive up to the second pass between Chinini and Cabanaconde. 2100m downhill biking to the bottom (Colca river 2000), this amazing downhill to Soro valley (2000m) is one of the best circuit in the Colca canyon, nice zigzag dirt road, wonderful view of the both walls of the this impressive canyon. Short hike along the Colca River to Llahuar valley, where there is nice hot spring around the River, we spend the night in bamboo rooms running by local family (B - S - D). |

Day 8: Colca Canyon - Condor Cross - Chivay
At 6am 1 hour trekking to Soro valley, where our 4x4 vehicle is waiting. Drive up to the Cabanaconde town. Breakfast at this quiet town and then transfer to the Condor viewpoint (3600m), where is possible to see the flight of the biggest flying bird in the world. Ride on the right bank of the canyon, through the remote villages (Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque). Visit the hot spring in Chivay. At 7:30pm visit the Maria Reiche Planetarium, we invite you to immerse in the mysteries of the Colca Valley sky and enjoy the performance "Colca deep Canyon, deep sky". You can learn how the ancient inhabitants of the Andes interpreted the night sky according to their myths and beliefs. The performances include projecting constellations in the Planetarium dome as well as observing the stars of Colca`s sky through a professional telescope. Stay at the selected hotel (B - L). |
Day 9: Chivay - Pampa Cañahuas - Puno
At 7 morning transfer to Patapampa (4850m), it is the highest pass between Colca canyon and Puno. Downhill and cross country ride over 4 thousand meters, on the way we stop at Toqra pampa lagoon to observe Andean birds and groups of Llamas, Alpacas, Vicuñas and a local museum running by local people. Cycle into the Aguada Blanca And Salinas reserve, is the natural home of the Vicuñas, considered protected animal. Transfer in our private vehicle to the stone forest, short hike around this scenery, Transfer to Lagunillas lagoon incredible place for picture companied with picnic (snack).
At 4pm arrival to Puno, located over 3800m near the shore of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. If there's time, we'll visit Sillustani, which was a sacred burial site of the pre-Inca Colla civilization. The Chullpas, or funeral towers, on the peninsula overlooking Lake Umayo create an otherworldly setting, and we'll hike around this area. Transfer to Puno and stay at the selected hotel (B-S). |

Day 10: Puno - Lake Titicaca - Uros And Taquile Islands
At 07:00 am. You will be picked up from your hotel. Travel and after 2 hours by motor boat and then you will arrive at the Uros Island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water. At present they speak Quechua and Aymara. Then we will visit the Taquile Island, including lunch in the co-operative restaurant, there is also a co-operative shop on the plaza that sells exceptional woollen goods which are not cheap but of very fine quality. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow only about 1 KM wide, but 6 to 7 KM long, on Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. At 5pm return to Puno (B-L). |

Day 11: Puno - Pukara - La Raya - Hot Spring
At 7am transfer to Pukara on our private 4x4 vehicle, Pukara is a handicraft village located over 3700m, from here we ride our bicycles on the even terrain, exploring the large group of Lamas and alpacas grazing, passing through remote and rarely visit village of farmers. We will cycle across the spectacular La Raya Pass (4300m), after photo stop on the top of the pass, we will enjoy a sweeping descent to the hot springs. Late lunch and camp near of the hotpring, on the bottom of Vilcanota range (3815m) (B-L-D). |
